The Bean.

We head to see the bean today, as well as shop on Michigan Ave. It was a busy place. I almost got lost - good thing Kevin likes to hold my hand! :) We had great weather for shopping and walking and walking around Chicago today, however I'm all walked out and my little feet hurt.

Today, Kevin and I decided that we were going to sleep in (well until the housekeeping decided to have a little meeting outside our room - very loudly- and wake us up) so anyway we got up at like 9ish and then kind of laid around and I had some homework I had to get done. When we left it was lunch time so we went for GINO'S PIZZA! AMAZING! IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! Only bad part was that it took over an hour!

Let's Go Cubs!!

We went to the Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago Cubs baseball game last night, it was my first ever game, Kevin’s third time going. I had a great time! We had great seats – minus the VERY drunk, obnoxious adult males behind us. We took the train up to the stadium and back, so it worked out perfect. Oh ya and the CUBS WON!!!! YAY!!!! SO WE GOT TO SING THE SONG AND THE WHITE FLAG GOT BE FLOWN!!! Kevin has NEVER seen them win at Wrigley Field so this was kind of exciting!

theWit, In Chicago is where we are staying. It on North State Street in Downtown, it is an Amazing hotel. We are staying at a VERY reduced rate, because it’s actually a Hilton property. The maximum room rate that can be charged is $1,000.00 a night – ya I know crazy hun.

Grandparents.

Yesterday, on our way to Chicago we stopped and saw my grandparents in Davenport! We also went to Village Inn with my Grandma while we waited for my Grandpa to come home so I could see him as well! We left Ankney super early so Kevin drove the first half of the way. It was so nice to see them! Also, my grandmother is having a garage sale and is selling some of her baseball things and Kevin found some old baseball posters that he fell in love that he bought! It was a great seeing them! We are planing on seeing them on the way back on Thursday!

Family.

This is my family. They are my Dad's - Mom, Dad , Sisters and Brother. They say I never blog about them so I am going to today. They all live over by Davenport, so I don't get to see them much, but I know they all love me very much and would do anything for me. I am planing on getting to see my grandparents on Tuesday when we head to Chicago, we are going to make a pit stop to have "breakfast" with them! Can't wait to see them and miss them all very much!

Libby.

Today, had to be one of the sadist days of work to date. My best fried, supervisor, partner in crime had her last day. She is moving on to a bigger and better property and I could not be more prouder of her or happier, I am still very said to see her go. I don't think it will hit me till Monday comes and I will expect to see her walk through the back door at 3pm, and she will not be their. With out her I would not be the person I am today, she taught me almost everything I know about the front desk. I have SO many great memories from HGI and almost all of them include her in it. I wish her nothing but complete success and I will always be in her corner cheering for her as loud as I can. Love you libbs, like my sister!
