Winter Photos

This past Friday Kevin and I got the privilege to get our photos taken again by Jenna.  She did them in the summer of last year and then again our family photos. She has changed her name to Shutter Iowa Photography, however still the great amazing work as always. We went to the fair grounds for this location and they turned out even better than expected. We traveled north this weekend for our fifth and final christmas of the year with Kevin's Mom. I have been feeling very under the weather since christmas day so this was going to be a large test for me. Friday we loaded up the car and Kevin drove north. We had good weather so that was nice and we got lucky.  We spent saturday enjoying time with all of his siblings and their other halfs as well as his mom. We also enjoyed playing games. We ducked out kind on early so I could get some rest. Overall it was a great day and fun spending time with family.

Woodpecker!

Kevin and I have gotten into giving back to the animals that live around us. Starting in December we put out our winter bird feeder. We had not seen much activity but with me being home sick I have been kind of keeping my eye on it.  Today I had a little friend show up who had not come before; a little woodpecker! I sat and just watched him for about an hour it was kind of neat. I was also able to grab some photos before he went on his way!
