Iowa State Fair.

We went to the fair the is past weekend with Addi and Canon. We got to feed little animals, see the butter cow, see day old pigs, cows, snakes alive, and lots of fun other things. It was fun for Kevin and I to see their little face light up when they get to experience new things.

Preschool Music

A few days ago we got to see Canon at his end of the year Music show. It was great to see little children in preschool getting up and performing.  Canon did a great job and of course I think he did the best! After it was done we all headed to Jethro's for a family dinner. It was great to have everyone and to enjoy company. Going to miss the munchkins over the summer!

This past week due to it being Addi's Birthday last week Kevin and I took her and Canon to an Iowa Cubs game and out to dinner to Pizza Ranch. They had a blast. It was their first ever game so they were all about asking questions about what was going on and seeing Cubbie Bear.  They also thought it was pretty awesome that the players didn't have to use a tee to hit the ball. Due to the weather not being the best we had the park pretty much to our self. We were also able to get a free t-shirt they were throwing out for them to share as a new bed time shirt. It was also so nice of the Iowa Cubs as they put her on the jumbo TV - again they thought it was the coolest thing ever! It also was the 100 year anniversary of "Chicken of the Sea" so they had a mermaid and they were also very excited to get a photo taken with her - Kevin and I felt very sorry for her as she looked so cold!!!! Over all it was a blast, Addi and Canon had so much fun and we can not wait to go on a warmer Friday night to see some fireworks and enjoy some more ball games!!!!

Craft Time

When we got home we had craft time with Addi and Canon. It was a nice enough day out so we were able to do them outside. We had gotten kits so they could make concrete stones for Kelly on Mother's Day. It was great to see their creative minds go to work and see what they would come up with for her.

Kelly was also loving them when they gave them to her for Mother's Day!

Monkey Joe's!

The other day we had Addi and Canon and we were going to head to the park and play games however it started to rain. Kind of spoiled that plan.

We then headed on over to Monkey Joe's. It's a play place for children with lots of inflatables.  They loved it. They were running all over the place and having a blast! Great second pick. We will be going back with them for sure!
