Mt. Evans.

Today Kevin and I went 14,264 feet in the are and climbed Mt. Evans! It had amazing breath taking views. It was totally worth the drive and time it took.  I would recommend anyone coming to colorado to check it out.

Cubs vs. Rockies!

Saturday Night we went to Coors field to watch the Cubs play the Rockies! We have never been to Coors Field so this will make the fourth stadium we have been together. We had a great time together even thought the Cubs did not pull out the win. We will have to see where the road takes us next year and what stadiums we get to see! Play Ball!

Coors Tour!

To start off our trip in Colorado we went to the Coors to see where they make the other half off MillerCoors!  I will say it is a lot different than when we went to Milwaukee. This one had no live person giving the tour, it was all on your own with an auto and set. It was still very informative and interesting and you got your free beer at the end of course!

Homewood Suites!

We headed off to Denver this weekend for my birthday to watch the Cubs play. I booked a room at a Homewood Suites not knowing what to expect since we have never stayed at once before. They did not disappoint. It is amazing. I will now try to stay at them all the time. It is like a small apartment!

Birthday Dinner!

On wednesday night we went to dinner with Dad and Melissa to Joe's Crab Shack for my birthday since it is Sunday and I will be out of town. We had a great time. We had great time, I like to sit out side however it was SO hot out we sat inside.

Lunch Date

Last Saturday when it was amazing nice out Kevin and I had a lunch date to Zombie Burger. We don't go Downtown to eat very often so it was fun to go down and eat outside together. I will admit the service was not that great but we made the best of it. The best thing was we got the Ice Cream!!! I always get wedding cake, Kevin usually mixes it up a bit. The one he got this time was kind of cool.
