My Basket!

I wanted to show you all what Kevin got me for my basket.  He did an awesome job, I was impressed. I love the book he got me it is something I really wanted and we are all set for our trip and we have lots of snacks! Great work Kevin!

Road Trip!

This week Kevin and I will be going to watch the Cubs play. We will be driving for 6 hours so we decided to do car baskets for each other! Something fun and random and nice to do for each other. So excite for the way his turned out!

Dad's Day!!!

I had to work on Father’s day so we celebrated on Saturday with dad! Erin was able to drive up and surprise dad and we were all able to spend the day together. Melissa came up with an awesome idea to go to The Social Canvas in Waukee.  This place is great, they have a teacher and you learn from her and you paint the photo from your eyes. We all had a great time spending it with dad! 

 

 

This is our house now!

Kevin and I have been together for 20 months, almost 2 years. I am not going anywhere and I love him more and more ever day.  At the start of the month Kevin informed me that he had decided to give up "man cave" or his apartment he has had downtown and move in with me. So this past weekend with Dad, Melissa, and our friend Chris's help we packed up the apartment and Kevin moved in and my house became our house.

Sword Fight!

Dad and Melissa were getting ready to take somethings to the dump this past weekend so they were so kind to stop by the house to see if we had anything they could take for us...and we did. However that is not the point of this post. While I was looking at what they were throwing out I found some "swords!!!" They were tossing away the old banister because they just got done with a remodel and because Kevin and I are silly we thought it would be fun to have a sword fight.  I think I won but that is my opinion. I did however hit in the fingers and start bleeding, and Kevin was completely unharmed. So I guess Kevin was the true winner.

Ya...I love him...

The other night at Target while I was trying to find something Kevin walked on over to the sunglasses.  I turned around and saw this.....

...I don't even know. I still love him and it cracked me up.

We got to go again to an Iowa Cubs game but this time it was with Dad and Melissa and we got to sit in a Skybox so the weather did not matter at all. We had a great time and it was a wonderful treat to sit there. It was also nice that Erin was able to come with us because she was home.
