Iowa State Fair - Day One.

Today Kevin and I went to the Fair for the first time this year! If you know me I LOVE the fair so I was SO excited to go! We had wonderful weather to walk around the fair in, however I was a bit nervous after the storm we had come through last night! I can't wait to go back tomorrow night and Sunday with some friends!

Moving Day.

Yesterday was moving day for Kevin's little sister. She moved from the Waterloo area to Ames, for school. She is a cyclone. We got up their around 4:30is and helped her get unpacked and then we all went to dinner - Kevin's Mom, Sisters, Me and Heather's new roommate. It will be nice to have her some what close to us! Also when we go for PIZZA i'm sure she will be treated as well - since she thinks pizza is a food group. Good Luck Heather, you will do great!

Dad's Birthday!

The other night was my father's birthday! After I got off work Kevin and I headed on down to his house to celebrate with him. We had a yummy dinner that Melissa made and then we just hung out and talked a bit. We also had some yummy homemade German Cake - dad's favorite. It was a great night! I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures :( HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!

Tonight one of my very best friends in the whole world got married. I could not be happier for her and her new husband. They truly are a perfect match for each other. Kevin and I had a wonderful night celebrating the evening with you both. We can not wait to share more memories with you!

Cheesecake Factory.

The other night I was blesses to go out to eat with my sister, her boy Nick, my momma and Kevin. We were celebrating my Birthday. I know what you are thinking do I celebrating all month long – well I kind of have to, with me working all time and being gone it’s kind of a long celebration! I love me some Cheesecake Factory it was SO good! We even got to sit outside and if you know me and my family that is a big deal and I LOVE to do that so I will super excited!  We all ate way to much but it was so good! Thanks Everyone for making it great!

Happy Birthday to me!

Woo Hoo.

I did it. My summer class is over. I escaped. However, after talking with my REAL advisor it was a good class to take but not one of the seven I have left. That was very disappointing. I am ready. I will do it. It will NOT defeat me. I will win. I am going to take TWO classes this fall, yep that’s right! Here we go, and if everything goes well I will take THREE this spring and then TWO next summer. That is the plan.  Then I will kick DMACC good bye and I will have a degree. WOO HOO! Then comes the hard stuff. So I have ONE year left. That is all I have to tell myself. Next summer at this time I WILL BE DONE! I WILL BE DONE! NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES I WILL MAKE IT. I WILL NOT LET IT DEFEAT ME I WILL WIN. :)

Last Night was my good family friends Tyler's Wedding. Since Kevin was on a boy's trip, I went alone. It was a great night and I am so glad I was able to help share the special night with them and their family and friends.
