Mom's Birthday

Yesterday was my mothers birthday so Kevin and I took her out to dinner on Thursday night for Pizza in Ames, on of her favorite places to go and then with grandma we went out to dinner on Friday night for her real birthday. I hope she had a great day!

The other morning I worked at 6am for over time. I posted a photo showing my very large Starbucks drink on my wall say that is how I will get through my 11 hour hour day. In the afternoon my dad sent me an email of what was on his desk... Daughter like father <3

Last Piece...

So as I had said before we had gotten a lot of thinks at Ikea when we went well Kevin finally got the last thing put together! I'm so excited to have it. In the top it has space for your jewelry and then below it has drawers. Like I said I am in love with it!

scratch cupcakes!

So Kevin and I got treated to some more cupcakes yesterday! This time we got to have scratch cupcakes from west Des Moines! They were amazing!!!!! We had prince and princess ones and then we had peanut butter cup and butter finger! Yummy!!!

Glow Bowling.

After our night out for desert we went Bowling. We played two games of regular bowling and then the lights went off and we went GLOW BOWLING.... We had a great time. If was a lot of fun hanging out with Erin and Nick. Kevin kicked booty but oh well.

Creme Cupcake

Our Desert

Last night we went with Erin and Nick to Creme Cupcake in Des Moines, Iowa. If you have not been there I would check it out. It is a desert and drinks bar. They had great desert and (according to Erin) they have great drinks. We got the "sampler" were you get to pick three deserts and you can tell by the photos they were gone in no time! If you are looking for just cupcakes you need to get there before 5:30 however because they do stop making them at that time, that was a little disappointing. However we had a great time it was a great experience and I know Kevin and I will soon be going back!
