Showers / Swett Wedding.

Last Night was my good family friends Tyler's Wedding. Since Kevin was on a boy's trip, I went alone. It was a great night and I am so glad I was able to help share the special night with them and their family and friends.

United States Of America - Capitol.

After The Supreme Court we walked on over to the Capitol. They as well make shit happen. I really shouldn't have to tell you all too much about this but in case you didn't know it's the capitol of OUR NATION!

Supreme Court.

We started off our last day at the Supreme Court building of the United States of America. They make shit happen. They have made major decisions in the US history and we were able to walk through the walls that that all happened in! Did you know that the building that they work in was built because after Taft was President he became the Chief Justice and he thought they needed a different building so they are in the building they are in because of him today!

FDR Memorial.

For the last stop of the night again we headed on over to a newer memorial it was the Franklin D Roosevelt Memorial. He was the only president to serve 13 years in office. His memorial is different than the other presidents because it is not just a large single statue of him, this one had lots of waterfalls as well as direct quotes he said.

World War II Memorial.

We then walked down to the new World War II Memorial, it opened in 2004. It was amazing. I would have to say this is my favorite memorial.

Each Gold Star is 100 Men Killed in Battle.

All 50 States plus our Territories are represented by one of these, this is Iowa's.

Lincoln Memorial.

We then went on over to the Lincoln Memorial and reflection pool. Unfortunately the pool did not have any water in. It was a very busy place! It is great that we are able to honor one of great presidents.

Madame Tussauds.

We then went on over to Madame Tussauds to me all 44 presidents and then some! It was great I have never been to a wax museum before so I thought it was really great!
