Job.

I’m officially leaving Target behind and I took a new part time job as an Assistant Manager at the Maurices in Ankeny. I will work 4pm to Close and every other weekend. I am so excited for this. Kevin is worried about how much I will spend on new clothing, but he is very supportive and excited for me as well. Wish me luck as this new chapter of my life is about to begin!!! 

Darci's Birthday.

On Tuesday It was Darci's Birthday So in true fashion I had to dress her up! She was a great sport about it, even though I think she loved it! It was also HGI's birthday, it has been around 8 years!!! So she got to enjoy her birthday with HGI!!!

Anniversary.

On Wednesday Kevin and I had our Anniversary together. I took the night off work from Target so that we could spend the night together and go to dinner. It started with I got some beautiful flowers from him delivered to Hilton.

 We then went to dinner to dinner at Fong's Pizza in downtown Des Moines, for drinks and Pizza before the ball game!

We walked from Fong's to Principal Park to watch the Iowa Cubs play after that.

Over all it was an amazing day, one I will not forget all thanks to Kevin. 

Easter.

With being in the Hospitality Industry I have to work weekends, Easter was my weekend to work. So Kevin went home with his older sister on Friday night and I worked all day Saturday. On Easter I worked at Hilton Garden Inn my regular shift but mom came in and had breakfast with me, which I thought was very sweet of her. After I got off I went down to dads and had Easter with him and Melissa, Addi, Canon, and Kelly. They loved their Easter baskets. I got them HOP so they put that in and started to watch in. Kevin got back to my house to meet the Mediacom man because I GOT INTERNET at my house (yes finally.)

School.

Well I guess I should make if official, I am going back to school! :) I am nervous, scared, excited, happy, overwhelmed. Everything you can think of! I know that I have a wonderful support system behind me and they will help me and they are all so proud of me. I will start off by taking a summer class this summer starting in May going through August, we will we see how that goes and then I might take two in the fall! Wish me luck!!!

Master Bath.

Kevin and I decided that we would paint and “re-do” the Master Bath in my home. It was very interesting, with the tall walls and me wanting everything to be perfect. It turned out wonderful and I love it!

All of the art work done was by Erin, she gave them to me for Christmas. I LOVE it when I get hand made things from her, it is the best when I see them around my home I always think of her and it brings a big smile to my face. Love you sis!

      

Weekend.

This weekend I had the WHOLE weekend off for both jobs with nothing scheduled to do (or so I thought.)   Kevin ended up getting an invited to a Wedding, so we had that on Saturday for some of his friends at his church. It was wonderful; the ceremony was at The Downtown Church with the reception at Adventureland’s Theater.

On Sunday we kind of had just a lazy day, however we did take advantage of the nice weather and went out and walked around Grays Lake, it was SO nice out for April 1. Lots of people but we still had a great time. We played the game “your team” as we walked around the lake – ask Kevin for rules. J
