Balloon Races.

Every year down in Indianola they get about 50 hot air balloons to race on many different night and many people come out to watch. We went out last year to the Night Glow night and wanted to go again this year just to watch. It is always so much fun! You get to have great food, they usually have a live band, sit out side and just enjoy the Iowa weather and the people you go with.

We went to the fair the is past weekend with Addi and Canon. We got to feed little animals, see the butter cow, see day old pigs, cows, snakes alive, and lots of fun other things. It was fun for Kevin and I to see their little face light up when they get to experience new things.

Birthday.

A few weeks ago I had my 27th Birthday. It was more a birthday week. I got to have dinner with some of the most important people to me. It was the best. Kevin and I love having so many special people in our lives to share such special events with. I am also thankful for the people I work with they made my desk at work look amazing.

Josiah Stanton

On July 9, at 1:08 in the morning Kevin became an uncle! His older sister had their first child. Josiah Joshua Stanton. We have been able to see him often because we have brought over dinner to Tiffany and Josh quite a few times since he has come. This past weekend Todd, Kevin's older brother and his Emily came down to meet the new bundle and we went over and were able all to hang out so that was a nice surprise to find out they were coming! Can't wait to see what the little man has in store for all of us in the years to come!!!

Color Run

Yesterday I took part in the Des Moines Color Run. It is known as the happiest 5K around. It was in downtown Des Moines and my Aunts from Davenport made the drive over to do it with me. My friend Sandra, her daughter Autumn and boyfriend Steven also did it with us. It was great fun. Sandra and Steven had something to do after so I took Autumn through the color and you can tell by the photos she came out looking like a rainbow! Kevin even got a little color on him by just watching. The trick to get all of it off however - DAWN dish soap! When I washed it looked like I just killed Smurf and it was going down the drain, that is how much color I had on me. Can't wait to do it again with everyone!!

Dittmer / Juhl Wedding

Kevin’s very good friend Beth got married yesterday to her sweetheart Jeff. Beth and Kevin have been friends for a long time. They uesed to live across the street from each other so you can only image how much trouble they could get into. Kevin was an usher in the wedding and he also got to see a lot of people from his home town that he doesn’t get to see often. He was able to stay for the whole thing while I had to duck out early and head back to the Des Moines area due to working in the morning. It was great seeing them on such a special day and Kevin getting to be a part of it. Congrats again Jeff and Beth we wish you many years of happines!

July 4th

We got to spend July 4th in Independence, Iowa. They had some amazing fireworks. We are in town for a wedding the next day. It was great to see how they do the fire
works up big. It was a great show. We hope you all had a great 4th with your family and friends!!!
