Grandparents.

Yesterday, on our way to Chicago we stopped and saw my grandparents in Davenport! We also went to Village Inn with my Grandma while we waited for my Grandpa to come home so I could see him as well! We left Ankney super early so Kevin drove the first half of the way. It was so nice to see them! Also, my grandmother is having a garage sale and is selling some of her baseball things and Kevin found some old baseball posters that he fell in love that he bought! It was a great seeing them! We are planing on seeing them on the way back on Thursday!

Family.

This is my family. They are my Dad's - Mom, Dad , Sisters and Brother. They say I never blog about them so I am going to today. They all live over by Davenport, so I don't get to see them much, but I know they all love me very much and would do anything for me. I am planing on getting to see my grandparents on Tuesday when we head to Chicago, we are going to make a pit stop to have "breakfast" with them! Can't wait to see them and miss them all very much!

Today, had to be one of the sadist days of work to date. My best fried, supervisor, partner in crime had her last day. She is moving on to a bigger and better property and I could not be more prouder of her or happier, I am still very said to see her go. I don't think it will hit me till Monday comes and I will expect to see her walk through the back door at 3pm, and she will not be their. With out her I would not be the person I am today, she taught me almost everything I know about the front desk. I have SO many great memories from HGI and almost all of them include her in it. I wish her nothing but complete success and I will always be in her corner cheering for her as loud as I can. Love you libbs, like my sister!

Me Day.

Yesterday, I had a "Me Day." I got some heart breaking news this week at work and have been sad ever since. So with school, work and everything else it is just what I needed to keep my stress level down. Yesterday, when I got up I was starting to get a migraine and if you know me that is not a good thing. So after work I went to the Urbandale Public Library and took my first exam for my summer class, I didn't do as well as I had hoped, so I was bummed about that. I then went off to get my nails and toes done for when Kevin and I head off to Chicago NEXT WEEK - SO EXCITED! Then I went tanning and to finish off the day I went over to meet Kevin at Seth and Erin's house to have dinner. Great way to end the night with some great friends. I can't wait to go to Chicago, after this week it should great to get away after a kind of crapy week.

Zombie Date.

Last Friday, I had the day off and Kevin ended the school year on Thursday so we had all day together. We had some business to take care of for his car down at the Polk County Administration Building, after that fun time we got to go to Zombie Burger for Lunch! YUMMY!!!! :)

Lazy Day.

I had today off (from both jobs) and I spend most of the day sleeping - I know lazy me, however I worked 70 hours last week between two jobs. However, tonight Kevin and I went to dinner with Melissa and Dad, we went to Rock Bottom - Kevin's favorite. Then we went to Valley West Mall. We did a little bit of shopping, then we went by HGI and saw Libby! Great Night!

Last weekend, when we went back to Kevin's hometown, his Aunt and Uncle knew someone that was selling a car, for a great price, in VERY good condition. So, Kevin and them all went up on Saturday during the day to look at it, then he came back with it. He sure can surprise me sometimes!
