Iowa Wild

Last Night we were able to join our friends at the game opener of the Iowa Wild Hockey game. They did not disapoint. We had fireworks, fights, yelling fans and a win for the home team! I hope we will be able to go back again this season as I was feeling a little under the weather so I did not get fully enjoy the game.

Center Grove

Yesterday, Kevin and I headed out for our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch together. We found this one in Mitchville that looked great online once we got their lets just say if it looks to good to be true than it more than likely is. So we did not say and we then headed north to the famous Cambrage  Center Grove! There were so many people!! It was almost to packed. Overall we still had a great time together. We were able to pick apples l, something we have never done before. Go in a weird corn maze - we are pretty positive their was only one enterence and exit. Pick some pumpkins of cource - Kevin's favioite thing to do! We were also able to enjoy time together and time outside in the great weather we had been having. Overall it was a great day and I can't wait till next year to see where we will end up going!

Bush Stadium!

Kevin and I went and saw Bush Stadium today. We didn't attempt to go in because we have to take baby steps with Kevin. It was still fun to see a new atadium together.

Today we went to the Arch downtown however we were unable to go into it due to the government shut down. We still enjoyed walking around the area and looking at the land mark.

St. Louis Zoo!

Today we were able to enjoy the zoo, the St. Louis zoo that is. It was so much fun being able to see my sister since I missed her so much and attend OTTERtoberfest! It is to start the celebration of fall and they also have German Beer avaible for purchase. We were able to see so many more animals than the Des Moines Zoo has to offer.

Mr. And Mrs. Stanton

Yesterday was the day Kevin's sister got married. She married Josh, they met in their bible study and both work at principal financial. Kevin thinks he is a good guy and will compliment his sister well. Wishing the happy newlywedds many years of happy years together!!

Pumpkin!

If you know my sister and Kevin then you know they love fall flavors. This is their favorite time of the year due to the fact I can make things with Pumpkin in them. I'm always looking for something new I can make so it can be added to my box of recipes that I know they will love that I can make year after year. Last year it was some muffins. This year I'm taking on syrup. Yes that is correct Pumpkin syrup. While I was making this my house smelled so so good. It's not to hard to make either, they take about 15-20 min and you get about two masons jars. I'm taking them to the sister this weekend as she loves her waffles so she can have an extra special treat on them. We will have to see how she likes them! Let me know if you would like the recipe.
