Junk Jubilee

Last saturday we went to the Junk Jubilee with Dad, Melissa, Aunt Kelly and Aunt Chris, IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!! I want to go back next year! I don't think we really thought we were going to get anything but we ended up getting three things and I love them all! They are all things for the home and they make the home feel more like home!
We got the Iowa State yard art - it is made all out of metal. We also got the flowers - they are made of recycled coffee cans.
This was the other find we got - it went in the living room and I love it!!!

After we went to the Jubilee everyone came over for dinner and we had a cookout,

It was so much fun to hang out with family!!!

Dish Soap

So I got this idea of Pinterest (I know a big surprise.) They are for your kitchen and they are olive oil bottles and turn them in to dish soap "bottles" because they are way hotter than having Dawn dish soap sitting out by your sink! Well we did one to see how it turned out....
Winning!!! Perfect!

It turned out soo well we did...
six more for family. We have to etch on to the glass Dish Soap! I made them for family! Lets hope you get one! I will be making some more as well let me know if you would like me to make you one!

Kevin working on the etching for the glass.

Green Tumb

Kevin and I are working on making the outside of the home look amazing and because we do not have much to work with we got a flower pot last night at Target to hopefully make it look a lot better once the flowers start to grow!

Me filling the pot up with dirt.
All the seeds!!!
Our "little" Flower Pot!

We put in four different types of flower seeds I hope this works I am very excited to seem them grow and to bring to color to the front of the house!

VEISHEA

This past weekend Kevin and I went up to Ames, IA to partake in VEISHEA with Iowa State University. It is something I remembered doing when I was a child and Kevin was active when he was a student at the school. VEISHEA is a great long standing tradition in Ames and we can't wait to go back next year. - I am sorry I did not get very many photos.

Kevin and I at the parade

The best "float" we think in the parade, It was a real horse done by the Vet but it had all the bones on it!

Top 25!!!

At Nationwide every month each team votes on something and that team member is part of Nationwide's Top 25 Member Care Representatives for the month. It is a big deal. For the month of March I was the one for my team!!!! I have only been with the company for 6 months! I think this is a big honor! I get a certificate and name tag swagger as well as a t-shirt. So I will keep rocking it out and see if I can get it again! I also got a very sweet card from HGI saying congrats! I love them so much!

My new name swagger!

Spring Cut!

Not many of you have seen my new cut but on Wednesday I cut almost 3 inches off my hair! I thought it was time for my "spring cut" I LOVE IT! The lady did a great job!

Easter in Wast Union

A few weekends ago Kevin and I went to West Union for Easter with his family. We went up friday night and had Easter on Saturday with them.  We had so much fun seeing everyone. Kevin, his sisters and I got to "hide" 300+ easter eggs for the little ones in the family, it was great to see them run out the door for the eggs! As always the time was way to short and we can't wait for christmas/thanksgiving to see everyone again!
