Kevin.

My wonderful Kevin. We have been together for about six months and I cannot image not having him in my life, he completes me.  When I am weak he is strong, when I try to let go I know he will hold on, when I feel or scared to death he will take my hand and tell me together we can do it. He always knows what to say at all the right times, for the most part (he is a male.) I love how knows how much Addi and Canon mean to me so always makes sure that we make time for them and that he gives them loving as well.  He is just so great an I am so lucky to have him in my life. I cannot wait for April we get to go to Florida together, June we are going to Chicago and in July we are going on Vacation with my Dad and Melissa!  

This is was our very first picture together. We hadn’t been together very long and I don’t even think we were officially boyfriend and girlfriend but we had walked down to Fong’s pizza to have lunch with Kelly, Janea, and Canon because they wanted to meet him.  With Kelly being the photographer she got a photo of us, so this is it our first one together!

Halloween, we went as Cinderella and Prince Charming. I picked out what we were going as. J It was kind of hard to find them but I REALLY wanted to go as Cinderella and Kevin being as wonderful as he is went a long with it and was my Prince Charming. He was great! We had a great night out.

We had three Christmas together (we both come from divorced parents, I had to miss the one with his dad because I had to work) We went up to his Mom’s house before Christmas and spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with them then drove back down and had Christmas with my mom. Then on Friday we had Christmas with my Dad and Melissa. Big family means lots of holiday time! J (I had to sneak the photo of him and Addi in, it’s so darn cute she just loves him, they are reading on the iPad)

Kevin LOVES the Chicago Cubs, we are going to a game in June (can’t wait), so for Christmas I got him a new Sweatshirt, and funny story he got me a t-shirt, this is us with them on after we opened them from each other. <3

We went to Minnesota the weekend before Valentine’s Day to just “get away” we had a wonderful time! The Embassy we stayed at was AMAZING! We went to the Mall of American and IKEA and just had “us” time. It was great. We had perfect driving weather; I did not want to come back to work. On Tuesday we went to dinner at Centro in downtown Des Moines with Dad and Melissa and it was great, Kevin also surprised me and got me flowers, they were beautiful. I was a wonderful great first Valentine’s Day I can’t wait for the many more to come.

Kevin went to Iowa State University and loves to watch the sporting events, so dad got us Tickets and we went up one night with his older sister Tiffany and watched the men play basketball. It was so much fun. We had pizza before with some of his friends that he knows that live up in Ames, it was a great night. The Cyclones did win that night!! Yay!!

About Me!

So I created this blog so that I can keep in touch with my family and friends and let everyone know a little bit more about me and my crazy life. I thought I would introduce some important people in my life so that you would know, let’s get started!

This is my Mom, Rogena.  Yes, she graduated from college this past year (way to go mom) could not be more proud of her! She lives in Johnston and doesn’t work very far away from me, I like to go on lunch dates with her.

This is Dad and Melissa, they have been together since I have graduated high school (2005), they are great! They both were a big help in buying my first home in 2010, it was such an exciting time! We usually always go out to dinner one a week and then we have a “date” to target, it is always something I look forward to!

Next up we have Erin, the little, big sister. She is almost four years younger than me but almost a good foot taller than me. She has been by my side for almost 20 years now and I could not have asked for a more supportive, understanding, loving and kind sister. She makes me so proud and next year she will be a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University.

This is Janea and Kelly. They are wonderful. Kelly is my Aunt. (Melissa’s younger sister) and I got to know Janea through her (they were roommates in college, poor Janea) we always have a great time together and I always know I will have great memories when I with them.  Kelly owns her own photography business called Friend Photography and is amazing at what is does, Janea works at Wells Fargo.

This is my wonderful Kevin. He is amazing. He puts up with a lot and still loves me. He is from the Waterloo area, he is one of four children, he has two sisters (one younger and one older) and one older brother.   I am sure you will find out a lot more about him so I will keep this short but I love him, he is amazing, he makes me so happy he is the prince that I have been dreaming of! Love you! xo

Darci (Ms. Tang as I like to call her) and Libby, they keep me down to earth at my full time job, the Hilton Garden Inn in Johnston.  They are wonderful, they make me laugh all throughout the day and make the time just fly bye.  Libby has been working here as long as I and Darci just joined our team and she is a great addition. I would miss them very much if they would ever leave me! They rock my socks off!

My wonderful cousins on my mom’s side, Megan and Connor. I bet you can’t guess who is the oldest or youngest???  It goes ME, Megan (far left), Erin (second right), Connor (second left).  They live in Florida so I do not get to see them much but I love them so much and I am so proud of both of them.  When I do get to see them I cherish every moment we have together. I have some wonderful memories with them, some of them would include a boating trip with Megan as our Caption, and the game “imagine if…” I can’t wait till we all get older to see where the world takes us!

Addi and Canon, saving the best for last <3 I love them.  They are Kelly’s two kids and they are awesome! They are so much fun to be around, however I totally used to be the favorite but since Kevin and I have been together he have totally taken over the favorite roll with them, oh well I guess he can have it. We have so much fun together with them, read, play games, go to the park, watch movies, oh yes and how could I forget Addi LOVES the my iPhone and iPad, she knows where all HER games and everything is at. Love them so much!!
